NCIU's Mission, Vision and Culture

NCIU’s Mission Defines Our Purpose

NCI University & Theological Seminary uses distance-learning methodologies to provide front-line Christian adult learners throughout the world with educational opportunities for higher education.

NCIU recognizes that for many reasons such people are not always able to go to a campus-based institution for much needed skills and qualifications.

NCIU therefore has designed their distance- learning courses in recognized religious, academic and vocational award programs that will enable them to acquire the knowledge and skills needed to participate and function effectively in this twenty first century, globalized society.

NCIU believes that Christian believers throughout the world should be able to further their desired education and use the knowledge gained to achieve personal and career goals in service to Christ and their local community in a culturally appropriate manner. NCIU courses are specifically designed with this objective in mind.

NCIU also recognizes that among the challenges for higher Christian education in today’s, globalized village and economy, we must provide opportunities to learn and earn distance education degrees in accessible formats that are affordable to diversified communities and economies. This understanding is reflected in our fees, tuition and financial cost structures.

NCIU’s Vision for Culturally Appropriate

Higher Education

NCIU constantly seeks financial donors to contribute and provide tuition sponsorship for needy students, as well as becoming involved with students and their ministry endeavors beyond the NCIU program. Please click the DONATE button on the HOME PAGE to find out more.

In addition, recognizing that just as all biblical revelation for effective Christian life is progressive, so institutions of higher Christian education must also continually strive for ongoing improvement of their educational offerings in recognition of changing needs and focus in a changing world.

Institutions that exist to serve their student and end-user constituency must learn to adapt their presentation of unchanging truth to the fluid state of the global societies without diluting the essence of God’s unchanging truths.

NCIU also believes and reaffirms their need as an organization to hold themselves accountable to the standards and oversight required by professional quality assurance organizations and peer-level review.

Above all, NCIU seeks to know the mind of Christ in our role as equippers and trainers, being open to the Spirit of Prophecy and Revelation as our ultimate guide and the written Word of God as our authority in matters pertaining to faith and conduct.

NCIU’s Cultural Understanding

Reflects Our Mission and Vision

NCIU's Mission and Vision are reflected in the day-to-day operations of the University and Theological Seminary and are part of our own internal culture. We focus on the needs of our students in all that we do.

We constantly seek to make improvements to the quality of our curriculum and this is reflected in our unique approach to distance-learning programs in order to achieve creditable academic awards.

We use student feedback and evaluation as well as end-user reports, where possible, as part of this continuing review process, to ensure we hear from those who seek to apply the knowledge gained through our programs.

We seek to engage the support and interaction of appropriate Adjunct-Professors and Tutors, who will become Faculty Mentors.

These special teachers and spiritual guides are among those who strive personally to be life-long learners in their chosen professions and who invest of themselves in learning and using best practices, giving further facilitation of NCIU online, distance-learning courses.

Our graduates are ordinary men and women of faith, just like you. However, through diligent application, persistence and appropriate mentoring they have now become successful students, who are achieving their hopes and dreams.

Such successful “heroes of faith,” are the ultimate testimony to NCI University & Theological Seminary’s continuing success and we are privileged to be a part of that living story. We invite you to sign on and become part of the continuing story too.
