LEGAL STATUS
New Covenant International, Inc (also known as New Covenant International University& Theological Seminary) is registered as a private, non-profit, educational organization and is incorporated in the State of Florida, USA.
New Covenant International Incorporated is recognized by the US Internal Revenue Service as organized for religious and educational purposes and is therefore exempt from taxation, pursuant to lRC Section 501 (c) (3).
AUTHORIZATION
NCIU AUTHORIZATION
New Covenant International, Inc. is a Florida incorporated non-profit educational organization,that has established a private nonpublic post-secondary institution for the purpose of providing educational programs to prepare students for religious vocations as ministers, professionals, or laypersons in the categories of Bible and Theology, Christian Ministry, Christian Mission and Intercultural Studies, Christian Pastoral Counseling, Church Leadership, Religious Education, Administration, Music, Fine Arts, Media Communications, or Social Work.
Florida Statute 2009 TITLE XLVIII Chapter 1005.04 and 1005.06(1)(f) F.S. enables religious educational institutions and other faith-based organizations to operate by sworn affidavit with exemption from State government control and determination of curriculum. NCI University & Theological Seminary (NCIU) is fully compliant in all statutory requirements.

► NCIU is listed with the US Government National Center for Educational Statistics (NCES) - http://surveys.nces.ed.gov/ipeds/ under the IPEDS Division (the Integrated Post-Secondary Education Data System).
► NCIU is a Certified Member of CPCA - the Council of Private Colleges of America, USA [authorized pursuant §246-041(1)(f)F.S.]
► NCIU is also a Certified Member of FCPC - the Florida Council of Private Colleges Inc., USA [authorized pursuant §246-041(1)(f)F.S.]
MEMBERSHIPS
NCIU holds current membership with two peer-level organizations to ensure quality education standards are upheld and adhered to: (1) Certified Member status of the Council of Private Colleges of America, and (2) Certified Member status of the Florida Council of Private Colleges.
ABOUT FCPC AND CPCA
THE PURPOSE of the Florida Council of Private Colleges, Inc. is
►TO PROMOTE quality faith-based education, and provide support services for faith based educational institutions to accomplish their individual purpose and mission.
► TO REPRESENT member faith-based educational institutions before any government and/or educational agency.
►TO PROVIDE CERTIFICATION of member faith-based educational institutions with the Council of Private Colleges of America, Inc. (CPCA) through preset quality peer review, onsite certification visits, verification of data, to FCPC and CPCA standards which exceed the minimum standards of the State of Florida as determined by Florida Statute 2009 TITLE XLVIII Chapter 1005.04 and 1005.06.(1)(f) F.S.
NCIU is Certified Member Status of the Florida Council of Private Colleges
New Covenant International University & Theological Seminary (NCIU) is a current Certified Member of the Florida Council of Private Colleges, Inc. (FCPC) which represents its member independent colleges and universities before any government and/or educational agency.
NCIU voluntarily and without reservation, has submitted to the FCPC as an educational association for a thorough and rigorous FCPC Review Team examination.
The examination was achieved by qualified and experienced professional educational personnel providing quality peer review examining NCIU’s faculty, verification of academic curriculum and course development with examination criteria, distance learning processes, campus operations, catalogs, brochures, advertisements, application forms, financial management and accountability, student records and transcripts, and web site offerings.
Furthermore student interviews were conducted which determined that the educational learning experience provided true learning in keeping with educational standards of excellence that equaled or exceeded FCPC standards.
FCPC standards exceed the minimum standards of the State of Florida as required by statute.
