What are NCI External Degree Studies?
NCI External Degree
Studies are courses of study designed to enable students with prior
learning or experience achieve graduate or postgraduate awards by
Distance Education. External Degree Studies enable students the
flexibility of working toward their educational objectives whilst
maintaining their ministry or professional responsibilities. Students
completing External Degree Studies courses can, if they desire, further
their studies in other NCI Distance Education programs.

Who Should Enroll in External Degree Studies?

Students who have completed an NCI
Diploma, or at least 70 credit points through RPL. |

A
graduate who has successfully completed a diploma, associate degree,
degree or post-graduate degree through a recognized institution and
desires to pursue theological or ministry training with NCI. |

A
student desiring to complete a post-graduate degree. |
 |
Ordained
ministers or missionaries with a minimum of 5 years field experience
who desire to further their studies and grow through the discipline
of academic pursuit. |

What is the Delivery Format of Courses in
External Degree Studies?
NCI Correspondence
Studies courses involve set course work which may comprise of listening
to tapes or videos, following teaching manuals or reading books.
Generally each course has study questions enabling to student to
interact with the material. Students submit their answers to questions
by mail or email. Some courses require a written assignment or a text
analysis to complete the required assessment.
All
courses have a practical component which make the learning experience
