Scholarships -
Financial Assistance Plan
NCI is able to offer financial scholarship assistance to a limited number
of students each academic year. Special consideration is given to active missionaries and
full time workers and students in developing or emerging nations.
NCI scholarship assistance is based on the principle of equal sharing and
all applicants must be able to give recompense by way of providing practical ministry,
translation and textual publication work at the discretion of the Faculty over and above
the studies required for credit achievement in the respective program.
From time to time
NCI receives gifts from donors specifically for the purpose of assisting students from
specified nations to complete an external degree program, and applications for those funds
should be made to the Executive Director or your local academic dean.
In the first instance please direct all enquiry's to the Executive
Director at NCI for details and application forms.

Once your Application
to NCI has been assessed you will be sent a letter of assessment. This
letter will detail the course of study and the subjects you will be
required to complete. It will also detail the financial costs that you
are required to pay, and your payment options.
The
letter of assessment will indicate an offer of advanced standing status
and transfer credit point privileges if applicable. The letter of
assessment is only valid if the offer is accepted by the student with
both:
w
a written response, and;
w
an initial fee payment received.
This must be received
by NCI within 90 days from the date post marked on the assessment offer.
Receipt
of the first tuition payment is deemed by NCI as the student’s
acceptance of the assessment offer. If no payment is made, the contract
of study is duly deemed invalid.
If
a student drops out of continuous study obligation as specified in the
catalogue, or becomes inactive without written consent from NCI, they
are deemed to have ceased from being a current student of NCI.
If
a student who has dropped out, or become inactive wishes to be
reactivated for completion of their degree award, they will be subject
to the current conditions in place as designated in the catalogue at
time of reactivation. Any difference in academic and fiscal policy must
be agreed to in writing with appropriate fiscal rectification for
reinstatement to take place.
